Introduction
The OPAx322 series single, dual, and quad amplifiers deliver a maximized GBW-to-supply-current ratio, making them ideal for battery-powered applications requiring a strong balance between cost and performance, such as audio output, motor phase current sensing, photodiode amplification, and white goods. With rail-to-rail input and output swing, 20 MHz wide bandwidth, low supply current (typically 1.12 mA per amplifier at 5 V supply), and low noise, this amplifier series is an ideal choice for precision, low-current, low-voltage, battery-powered applications. Low input bias current enables these amplifiers to be used in applications with megaohm-level source impedances.
The robust design of the OPAx322 amplifiers provides ease of use for circuit designers: integrated RF/EMI rejection filter, no phase reversal under overdrive conditions, and high ESD protection (3 kV HBM). The OPAx322 amplifiers are optimized for operation from +1.8 V (±0.9 V) to +5.5 V (±2.75 V) over a temperature range of 0°C to 70°C, and operate from +2.0 V (±1.0 V) to +5.5 V (±2.75 V) over the extended temperature range of -40°C to +125°C.
The OPA322 (single) is available in a SOT-23-5 package. The OPA2322 (dual) is offered in SOP-8, DFN-8, and MSOP-8 packages. The quad OPA4322 is available in SOP-14 and TSSOP-14 packages.
