Introduction
The OPAx340A series single, dual, and quad op amps represent a new generation of precision, low-power op amps. This series features rail-to-rail input and output (RRIO) swing, low quiescent current (720μA typical), combined with wide bandwidth (9MHz) and ultralow noise (12nV/√Hz at 1kHz), making them ideal for a wide range of battery-powered applications requiring a good balance between cost and performance, such as audio output, motor phase current sensing, photodiode amplification, barcode scanners, and white goods. Low input bias current enables these amplifiers for use in applications with megaohm-level source impedances. The robust design of the OPAx340A amplifiers provides ease of use for circuit designers: unity-gain stability with capacitive loads up to 500pF, integrated RF/EMI rejection filters, no phase reversal under overdrive conditions, and high ESD protection (5kV HBM). The OPAx340A amplifiers are optimized over an extended temperature range of -40°C to +125°C for voltages as low as +2.0V (±1.0V) and up to +5.5V (±2.75V). The OPAx340A (single) is available in SOT23-5 and SOP-8 packages. The OPA2340A (dual) is available in SOP-8 and MSOP-8 packages. The quad OPA4340A is available in SOP-14 and TSSOP-14 packages.
