Introduction
NE555DR-HX is a high-performance precision timing circuit capable of accurately generating time delays or oscillation signals. It supports both astable and monostable operating modes, with timing functions flexibly controlled by external resistor-capacitor combinations. The threshold and trigger levels are set at two-thirds and one-third of the supply voltage, respectively, and these values can be adjusted via the control voltage terminal. When the trigger input voltage falls below the trigger level, the flip-flop is activated and the output goes high; when the trigger input voltage rises above the trigger level and the threshold input voltage also exceeds the threshold level, the flip-flop resets and the output goes low. The reset input has the highest priority, overriding all other input signals, and can be used to initiate a new timing cycle at any time. When the reset signal goes low, the flip-flop resets immediately and the output switches to low. While the output is low, a low-impedance path is established between the discharge terminal and ground. This device delivers an output current of up to 200mA, operates at supply voltages from 5V to 15V, and provides output levels compatible with TTL inputs.
