The MAX3232E is an EIA/TIA-232 and V.28/V.24 communications interface powered by 3.3V, featuring low power consumption and high data rate capability. The device employs a proprietary low-dropout transmitter output stage to deliver true RS-232 performance at supply voltages from 3.3V to 5.5V.
