ACS724LLCTR-05AB-T-HX/ACS724LLCTR-10AB-T-HX/ACS724LLCTR-20AB-T-HX/ACS724LLCTR-30AB-T-HX/ACS724LLCTR-50AB-T-HX is a high-performance Hall-effect current sensor offering high accuracy, excellent linearity, and temperature stability. It is suitable for measuring DC or AC currents and is widely used in industrial, consumer, and communications equipment. Its internal architecture consists of a high-accuracy, low-noise linear Hall IC and a low-resistance primary current conductor. The input current flows through an internal 0.9 mΩ conductor, generating a magnetic field that induces a corresponding electrical signal in the Hall circuit; this signal is then processed by internal circuitry to produce a voltage output, ensuring ease of use. The low-resistance conductor minimizes power dissipation and heat generation, while the inherent internal isolation provides a basic working isolation voltage of 424 VRMS and a dielectric withstand voltage of 3500 VRMS. The linear Hall circuit is fabricated using an advanced BiCMOS process and integrates a high-sensitivity Hall sensor element, Hall signal preamplifier, common-mode magnetic field rejection circuit, temperature compensation unit, oscillator, dynamic offset cancellation circuit, and amplifier output stage. With no current applied, the quiescent output is 50% VCC. At a 5 V supply voltage, the output varies linearly with the magnetic field between 0.2 V and 4.8 V, with a linearity of up to 0.1%. The device also integrates a differential common-mode rejection circuit that renders the output immune to externally applied stray magnetic fields, and an integrated dynamic offset cancellation circuit ensures that sensor sensitivity is unaffected by external mechanical stress and package stress. The sensor is available in an SOP8 package, operates over a temperature range of -40 to +125°C, and complies with RoHS requirements.
