Introduction
MAX3485E is a 3.3V, half-duplex, low-power RS-485 transceiver fully compliant with TIA/EIA-485 standard requirements. The device contains one driver and one receiver, both independently enable/disable controlled, with high-impedance outputs when disabled. With a 1/8 unit load, up to 256 transceivers can be connected in parallel on the same bus, supporting error-free data transmission at up to 12Mbps. Operating voltage range is 3.0~3.6V, with integrated failsafe, over-temperature protection, current-limiting protection, and overvoltage protection.
