Introduction
The AD854xA series single-channel, dual-channel, and quad-channel op amps are designed for general-purpose, cost-sensitive systems and applications. Features include rail-to-rail input and output swing, low quiescent current (typical 75μA), wide bandwidth (1.5MHz), and very low noise (25nV/√Hz at 1kHz), making them highly attractive for a variety of battery-powered applications requiring a good balance of cost and performance, such as audio output, consumer electronics, smoke detectors, portable medical devices, and white goods. Low input bias current enables use in applications with source impedances in the megaohm range. The robust design of the AD854xA amplifiers provides ease of use for circuit designers: unity-gain stable, capable of driving capacitive loads up to 500pF; integrated RF/EMI rejection filter; no phase reversal under overdrive conditions; and high ESD protection (5kV human body model). These amplifiers are optimized for operation from as low as +1.8V (±0.9V) to as high as +5.5V (±2.75V), with an operating temperature range of 0°C to 70°C; over the extended temperature range of −40°C to +85°C, the supply voltage range is +2.0V (±1.0V) to +5.5V (±2.75V). The AD8541A (single) is available in SOT23-5, SOP-8, MSOP-8, and DFN-8 packages. The AD8542A (dual) is available in SOP-8, MSOP-8, and DFN-8 packages. The quad AD8544A is available in SOP-14 and TSSOP-14 packages.
