Introduction
This amplifier series consists of single/dual/quad, micropower, zero-drift CMOS op-amps offering 4.5MHz bandwidth, rail-to-rail input and output, and single-supply operation from 1.8V to 5.5V. Using chopper stabilization technology, they deliver ultralow offset voltage (maximum less than 30µV) and near-zero temperature drift. The low quiescent supply current of 550µA per amplifier and extremely low input bias current of 20pA make them ideal for low offset, low power, and high impedance applications. This series provides excellent common-mode rejection ratio without the crossover distortion associated with conventional complementary input stages. This design enables superior performance when driving ADCs without degrading differential linearity. The AD8628 is available in SOT23-5, SC70-5, and SOP-8 packages. The AD8629 is available in MSOP-8, DFN-8, and SOP-8 packages. The AD8630 quad amplifier is available in RoHS-compliant SOP-14, TSSOP-14, and QFN-16 packages. The extended operating temperature range of −45°C to +125°C at all supply voltages provides additional design flexibility.
