Introduction
HG74HC245 is a high-speed silicon gate CMOS device with pin compatibility with Low-power Schottky TTL series. The circuit complies with JEDEC standard No. 7A. It is an octal bus transceiver with non-inverting three-state bus compatible outputs in both the transmit and receive directions. The output enable input $\overline{OE}$ facilitates cascading, while the transmit/receive input controls the direction of data transfer. The $\overline{OE}$ input controls the outputs to effectively isolate the bus. This device is functionally similar to the 74HC640 but features non-inverting outputs.
