Introduction
CD4060D is composed of an oscillator and a 14-bit binary serial counter. The oscillator structure can be an external RC or crystal oscillator circuit. When RESET is high, the counter is cleared and the oscillator is disabled. All counter bits are master-slave flip-flops. The counter counts in binary on the falling edge of Φ0 (and Φ0). A Schmitt trigger is used on the clock pulse line to limit the clock rise and fall times.
