Introduction
This amplifier series comprises single/dual/quad, micropower, zero-drift CMOS op-amps offering 350kHz bandwidth, rail-to-rail input and output, and single-supply operation from 1.8V to 5.5V. Using chopper stabilization technology, the series delivers ultralow offset voltage (maximum less than 10μV) and near-zero temperature drift. Each amplifier's low quiescent supply current of 25μA and ultralow input bias current of 20pA make it ideal for low-offset, low-power, and high-impedance applications. Unity-gain stable, the series suits a wide range of general-purpose applications. The compact package helps conserve PCB space and enables smaller electronic product designs. The series operates from a single supply of 1.8V to 5.5V or dual supplies of ±0.9V to ±2.75V. For optimal performance in single-supply operation, place a 0.1μF ceramic capacitor near the VDD pin. For dual-supply operation, bypass the VDD and VSS supplies to ground separately, each with a 0.1μF ceramic capacitor. The low supply current maximizes battery life, making it ideal for battery-powered systems. The series operates over a wide input supply voltage range (1.8V to 5.5V), with all temperature specifications covering −45°C to +125°C, and most characteristics remaining constant across the entire operating voltage range. The input common-mode range extends 100mV beyond the supply rails, and the rail-to-rail output swing can reach within 5mV of the supply rails under light resistive loads and within 100mV under moderate resistive loads. The series is optimized for bandwidth and speed and is not suitable for driving capacitive loads.
