LCSC front panel design cases for your reference
Specific Design Specifications:

1. Color Requirements
▪ Please specify the front panel background, text, and pattern color.
▪ For color accuracy, provide CMYK. RGB & PANTONE are accepted, but expect color difference.
Note: LCSC's darkest base color is CMYK 40,40,40,100.
2. Format Specifications
▪ Priority file formats: AI, CDR, SVG, EPS, DXF, DWG. Note: Don't forget to convert the text to curve, or the text will shift, or the font will be replaced.
▪ Secondary: PDF, CAD. Note: The ratio must be set to 1:1.
If multiples, please combine in ZIP and RAR.
3. Dimension Specifications
▪ LCSC customizes sizes up to 598mmx387mm or 587mmx398mm.
▪ Ensure a 1:1 drawing scale for precision.
Note: Each order is limited to one design. The drawing fee is $3 per design; any additional designs will incur an extra charge.
4. Pattern Requirements
▪ For vector formats (AI, CDR, EPS, DXF, DWG), please convert fonts to curves/outlines.
▪ For bitmap formats (PSD, JPG, BMP) with a resolution of 300DPI, please keep the cutting edges clear and no size markings in your drawing, just email us the size.
▪ For safe cutting, the outside stroke line width must be ≥ 2mm or positioned > 0.7mm from panel edges.
Note: For bottom printing, ensure a text line width exceeding 0.25mm; for front printing, maintain a minimum line width above 0.15mm.
5. Transparent and Cutting-out Designs
▪ Please specify translucent area color, e.g., red translucent.
▪ Please mark cutouts and transparent parts in the drawing with uniform color.
▪ Please ensure a minimum distance of over 1.5 mm between cutouts to prevent inter-hole penetration.
▪ Please maintain a minimum 1.5 mm clearance between the cutouts and panel edges to prevent melting, deformation, and usage damage due to thin panel sides.
Note: The cutting accuracy is ±0.3mm. Normally, the tolerance is -0.2mm. Usually, the overall size of the outer shape will be about 0.2mm smaller, and the cut-out size will be about 0.2mm larger.
6. Design Specifications for Multiple Designs
▪ Templates support sizes: 179mmx293mm, 279mmx393mm, 393mmx579mm.
▪ Please maintain > 2mm gap between designs.
7. Bulged Button Design Specification
Considering the rebound performance, mechanical life, touch effect, etc., now only PET material supports making bulged buttons, and thicknesses of 0.125mm & 0.2mm are recommended.
▪ Key diameter > 12mm: 0.2mm PET
▪ Key diameter < 12mm: 0.125mm PET
Optimal key size is 10mm~14mm for comfortable pressing. The range we support is within 6-40mm.
▪ Min. button-edge distance: 3mm
▪ Min. inter-button distance: 2mm
8. Adhesive Design Specification
The minimum width of the adhesive should be more than 3.5mm to ensure that the edges are covered.
