The E28-2G4M27S is a 2.4GHz RF transceiver module with 500mW transmit power and SPI interface, featuring ultra-low current consumption in low-power mode. The module adopts a compact SMD form factor (1.27mm pin pitch) with a high-performance on-board PCB antenna and a 52MHz industrial-grade high-precision low-temperature-drift crystal oscillator, ensuring reliable industrial performance and stability.

Built around Semtech's SX1280 RF chip, this IC supports multiple physical layers and modulation schemes including LoRa, FLRC, and GFSK, with Bluetooth protocol compatibility. The specialized modulation and processing techniques significantly extend the communication range under LoRa and FLRC modulations. An integrated PA and LNA boost the maximum transmit power to 500mW while further enhancing receive sensitivity, delivering substantially improved overall communication stability compared to products without PA and LNA. Excellent low-power performance, on-chip DC-DC conversion, and Time-of-Flight capability make this chip highly versatile for applications such as smart home, security systems, positioning and tracking, wireless ranging, wearables, smart bands, and health management. The SX1280 supports RSSI for user-defined deep secondary development and integrates Time-of-Flight for ranging applications.

The E28-2G4M27S is a pure RF transceiver module that requires MCU-based firmware or a dedicated SPI tool for operation.
