Introduction
The bq5102x device is a fully integrated wireless power receiver capable of operating under the WPC v1.1 protocol. This enables the wireless power system to deliver up to 5W of power to the system when used with a Qi inductive transmitter. The bq5102x device provides single-device power conversion (rectification and voltage regulation) for the WPC technical specifications, as well as digital control and communication. With leading efficiency and adjustable output voltage, the bq5102x device can achieve unique efficiency and system optimization. I2C also allows system designers to implement interesting new features, such as receiver alignment on the transmitter surface or detection of foreign objects on the receiver. This receiver can simultaneously achieve synchronous rectification, voltage regulation, control, and communication in a leading package size, efficiency, and solution size.
