The CLM331 series voltage-to-frequency converter is ideally suited for simple, low-cost analog-to-digital conversion circuits, high-precision frequency-to-voltage conversion, long-term integration, linear frequency modulation or demodulation, and many other functions. When used as a voltage-to-frequency converter, the output is a pulse train whose frequency is proportional to the applied input voltage. It therefore offers all the inherent advantages of voltage-to-frequency conversion technology and is easy to implement in all standard voltage-to-frequency converter applications.
