FM IPT2601Q

IPT2601 is a USB port fast charging protocol controller IC. IPT2601 intelligently identifies multiple fast charging protocols to deliver fast charging to powered devices such as smartphones. IPT2601 accurately adjusts the VBUS output voltage according to the voltage requests sent by the powered device, enabling fast charging.

Before adjusting the 5V output voltage, IPT2601 automatically detects whether the connected device supports the Apple fast charging protocol. If supported, the Apple device will charge at maximum current. If not, it proceeds to detect whether the device supports a voltage-adjustable fast charging protocol. If the connected device does not support a voltage-adjustable fast charging protocol, IPT2601 disables output voltage adjustment and configures the power supply as a USB DCP, ensuring the powered device's safety and enabling maximum current charging. If the protocol is supported, IPT2601 begins accepting request commands to adjust the output voltage.

IPT2601 allows the high-voltage fast charging function to be enabled or disabled via QC_EN, providing greater application flexibility.

IPT2601 is available in a SOT23-6 package.
