Introduction
The CP2104 Evaluation Kit contains the CP2104 evaluation board, an RS232 serial cable, a USB cable, and a Quick Start Guide. Related documentation is available on the designated webpage, including the device configuration programming guide and serial communication guide. Software packages and documentation can be found on the device page, including the CP210x driver and USBXpress Host SDK. The evaluation board connects to a PC via a USB cable, and to a target serial device via an RS232 serial cable. When using the virtual COM port driver, the CP2104 appears as a COM port in Device Manager; when using the USBXpress driver, it appears as a USB USBXpress device. The evaluation board features numerous I/O connections for convenient prototype development.
