FM FM5327

FM5327 is a lithium battery charge/discharge power management IC integrating lithium battery charging management, battery boost output, battery level detection, and LED battery indicator functions.

FM5327 employs switch-mode charging, covering the full charging cycle including trickle charge, constant current charge, and constant voltage charge. The float voltage accuracy achieves ±1% over the full temperature range, with the additional advantages of low charging current ripple and high charging efficiency.

FM5327's synchronous boost module delivers a 5V/2.4A output with up to 90% boost conversion efficiency and output voltage accuracy of ±7%.

FM5327 features multiple protection mechanisms, including input overcurrent, overvoltage, overdischarge, and overcurrent protection, as well as output current limiting, short-circuit protection, and chip overtemperature protection. High-performance ESD protection circuits are also integrated at the chip ports, ensuring exceptionally high reliability.

FM5327 incorporates an automatic load detection function that enables boost output automatically upon load detection.

FM5327 is currently available in an ESOP8L package.
