Introduction
DPS1035 is part of a family of power switches optimized for USB Type-C and other hot-plug applications. Fault conditions can be reported and features such as voltage limiting and output voltage slew rate can be programmed via an analog interface. The device is designed to operate between 4.5V and 24V. Its built-in fault handling mechanisms include reverse voltage and current blocking, input overvoltage protection, and thermal shutdown. In addition, the output voltage rise time can be adjusted to minimize inrush current and ensure system stability. A 7ms debounce time is applied before any fault condition is reported via the active-low FAULTB signal, preventing false triggering. The DPS1035 is housed in a low-profile, space-saving V-QFN4040-17 package manufactured with environmentally friendly materials.
