Introduction
NTC (Negative Temperature Coefficient) thermistors are made from sintered metal oxides. Each thermistor is composed of a combination of two to four of the following materials: manganese, nickel, cobalt, and copper. NTC thermistors are semiconductor resistors whose resistance decreases as temperature rises. TDK thermistors feature a low thermal time constant, enabling an extremely high rate of resistance change for precise temperature tracking.
