Introduction
ESP32-S is a universal WiFi-BT-BLE MCU module with powerful functionality and broad application scope, suitable for low-power sensor networks as well as demanding tasks such as voice encoding, audio streaming, and MP3 decoding. At the core of this module is the ESP32 chip, featuring scalable and adaptive characteristics. The two CPU cores can be individually controlled or powered. Users can cut power to the CPU and utilize the low-power coprocessor to continuously monitor peripheral status changes or whether certain analog values exceed thresholds. ESP32 also integrates a rich set of peripherals, including capacitive touch sensors, Hall sensors, low-noise sensing amplifiers, SD card interface, Ethernet interface, high-speed SDIO/SPI, UART, I2S, and I2C. The module's core processor ESP32 incorporates dual low-power Xtensa 32-bit LX6 MCUs, supporting clock frequencies of 80 MHz, 160 MHz, and 240 MHz.
Features
- Ultra-compact 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi + BT SoC module
- Low-power dual-core 32-bit CPU, usable as application processor
