Allwinner Tech A83T

Allwinner A83T is a high-performance octa-core mobile application processor based on eight energy-efficient ARM Cortex -A7 cores to deliver excellent performance with power consumption that even lower than quad-core competitors. A83T uses the cutting-edge 28nm fabrication process, and supports HMP (heterogeneous multiprocessing) technology that enables eight cores to work simultaneously. To deliver the best performance per watt, A83T packs PowerVR SGX544 GPU architecture from Imagination to achieve the best graphics performance and power consumption balance, and integrates a wide range of interfaces and modules such as LPDDR3/LPDDR2 interface, MIPI DSI, RSB, and HawkView ISP to reduce the system power consumption. H.264 1080p@60fps video processing is also supported in hardware to make the power consumption even lower. Thanks to its optimized display subsystem and Allwinner's next-gen SmartColor display technology, A83T processor brings the visual effects for still images and videos to an unprecedented level with less power drain.
