The DLP2010 Digital Micromirror Device (DMD) is a digitally controlled Micro-Opto-Electro-Mechanical System (MOEMS) Spatial Light Modulator (SLM). When used in conjunction with an appropriate optical system, this DMD can display images, videos, and patterns. This device is a component of a chipset consisting of the DLP2010 DMD, the DLPC3430 or DLPC3435 controller, and the DLPA200x/DLPA3000 PMIC/LED driver. The compact physical size of this DMD makes it suitable for portable devices where small form factor and low power consumption are priorities. The compact package complements the small size of the LEDs, making it an ideal choice for space-constrained light engines.
