The DRV5053 device is a chopper-stabilized Hall-effect IC that provides a magnetic sensing solution with excellent sensitivity stability over temperature and integrated protection features. The 0V to 2V analog output responds linearly to the applied magnetic flux density and is capable of distinguishing the polarity of the magnetic field direction. The device features a wide operating voltage range of 2.5V to 38V with reverse polarity protection up to −22V, making it suitable for a wide range of industrial and consumer applications. Internal protection is provided against reverse supply conditions, load dump, and output short-circuit or overcurrent.
