Introduction
Three half-H-bridge driver IC - Drives 3-phase brushless DC motors - Independent half-bridge control - Pin for low-side current sensing - Low MOSFET on-resistance - 2.5A maximum driver current at 24V, 25℃ - General-purpose comparator usable for current sensing or other functions - Integrated 3.3V 10mA LDO regulator - 8V to 60V operating supply voltage range - Thermally enhanced SMT package. The DRV8313 provides three independently controllable half-H-bridge drivers. Although it can also be used to drive solenoids or other loads, it is primarily intended to drive a three-phase brushless DC motor. Each output driver channel contains N-channel power MOSFETs in a half-H-bridge configuration. This design connects the ground terminal of each driver to a pin to enable current sensing on each output. A general-purpose comparator is available for current limiting circuitry or other functions. The DRV8313 provides up to 2.5A peak current or 1.75A RMS output current per half-H-bridge channel (with adequate PCB thermal dissipation at 24V and 25℃).
