Introduction
PSoC is a scalable and reconfigurable platform architecture, a mixed-signal programmable embedded system controller that includes an ARM Cortex-M0 CPU. Through flexible automatic wiring resources, it combines programmable and reconfigurable analog and digital modules. The PSoC 4100 series based on this platform integrates an ARM microcontroller, highly flexible programmable array resources, high-performance analog-to-digital conversion, operational amplifiers supporting comparison mode, and standard communication and timing peripherals. The PSoC 4100 products are fully upward compatible with the PSoC 4 platform series products to meet the requirements of new applications and designs. The programmable analog and digital subsystems support flexible on-site modification and debugging.

- Up to 32 KB of flash memory with read accelerator

- Two operational amplifiers supporting reconfigurable external strong drive, high-bandwidth internal driver, comparator mode, and ADC input buffer function
- 12-bit 806 Ksps SAR ADC including differential, single-ended modes, and channel sequencer with hardware averaging function
- Two current DACs (IDACs) for general-purpose or capacitive sensing applications
- Two low-power comparators operable in deep sleep mode
- 20 nA stop mode supporting GPIO pin wake-up
- Support for sleep and deep sleep modes to balance wake-up time and power consumption
- Cypress's CapSense Sigma-Delta touch module provides excellent SNR (5:1) and water resistance
- Easier implementation of capacitive sensing design through Cypress's software components
- Support for automatic tuning (SmartSense)
- LCD drive supported on all pins (Com or Seg drive), operable in deep sleep mode
- Two independent and reconfigurable serial communication modules (SCBs) including reconfigurable I2C, SPI, or UART functions
- Four 16-bit timer, counter, pulse width modulator (TCPWM) modules
- Support for center-aligned mode, edge mode, and pseudo-random mode
- Hardware comparator-based Kill signal for appliance drive and other high-reliability digital logic applications
- Up to 36 programmable GPIOs
- Any GPIO pin can be used as CapSense, LCD, analog, or digital pin
- Programmable drive mode, strength, and output slew rate
- Five different packages: 48-TQFP, 44-TQFP, 40-QFN, 35-WLCSP, and 28-SSOP
- 35-WLCSP package with built-in I2C Bootloader function
