This series of modular power supplies are three-terminal switching regulators featuring high efficiency, low power dissipation, and minimal heat generation — no heatsink required for stable and reliable operation. They address the drawbacks of conventional three-terminal linear regulators, namely low efficiency and excessive heat, making them an ideal drop-in replacement for three-terminal linear regulators.
