WK2124 is a 4-channel UART device with SPI interface, enabling SPI bridge/expansion of 4 enhanced UART sub-channels. The expanded UART sub-channels feature the following capabilities: Each sub-channel UART supports independent configuration of baud rate, word length, and parity format, with a maximum communication rate of 2Mbps. Each sub-channel can be independently configured to operate in IrDA infrared communication mode. Each sub-channel has independent 256-byte TX/RX FIFOs, with programmable interrupt trigger points per user requirements. WK2124 adopts a RoHS-compliant, lead-free SSOP20 package, operates over a wide supply voltage range of 2.5~5.0V, and supports configurable auto sleep/wake-up functionality.
