The RClamp3521P provides ESD protection for USB 3.0 and other high-speed ports, meeting the ESD immunity requirements of IEC 61000-4-2. The RClamp3521P is designed to minimize ESD peak clamping and TLP clamping voltages. Its extremely low dynamic resistance (typical 0.47Ω) delivers optimal protection for sensitive circuits. With a maximum capacitance of only 0.40pF, the RClamp3521P is suitable for applications exceeding 5GHz without introducing significant signal attenuation. These devices are fabricated using Semtech's proprietary low-voltage technology, offering superior electrical characteristics. The RClamp3521P is available in a 2-pin SLP1006P2 package measuring 1.0×0.6×0.5mm with a 0.65mm pin pitch and lead-free NiPdAu finish. Each device protects a single line with a maximum working voltage of 3.5V. The combination of low ESD peak clamping voltage, low dynamic resistance, and low capacitance makes this device ideal for applications such as USB 3.0, audio interfaces in portable devices, and V-By-One interfaces.
