PCF8563 is a low-power CMOS real-time clock/calendar IC featuring programmable clock output, interrupt output, and low-voltage detection. All addresses and data are transferred serially via a two-wire bidirectional I2C bus at a maximum rate of 400 kbps. The register address auto-increments after each read/write data byte.
