Introduction
The AMC1311 is an isolated precision amplifier. The output and input circuits of the amplifier are separated by a capacitive isolation layer with extremely strong anti-electromagnetic interference performance. This isolation barrier is certified to provide enhanced electrical isolation of up to 5 kVRMS, compliant with DIN EN IEC 60747-17 (VDE 0884-17) and UL1577 standards, and can support an operating voltage of up to 1500 VRMS. This isolation layer can separate devices operating at different common-mode voltage levels in the system, preventing electrical damage to low-voltage side devices or harm to operators caused by high-voltage surges.
The high-impedance input of the AMC1311 is optimized for connection with high-impedance resistive voltage dividers or any other high-impedance voltage signal sources. Excellent DC accuracy and low temperature drift support accurate isolated voltage detection and control in closed-loop systems. The integrated high-side power supply voltage loss detection function simplifies system-level design and diagnosis.
The AMC1311 offers two performance level options: The AMC1311B has a rated industrial operating temperature range of –55°C to +125°C, while the AMC1311 has a range of –40°C to +125°C.
