Introduction
The TLV710 and TLV711 series dual-channel, low dropout (LDO) linear regulators are low quiescent current devices with excellent line input voltage and load transient response performance. These LDOs are specifically designed for power-sensitive applications. These devices provide 2% typical accuracy over the full temperature range. The TLV711 series features an active pull-down circuit for fast output discharge. In addition, the TLV711-D device series incorporates a pull-down resistor on the EN pin. This design helps disable the device when the signal driving the EN pin is in a weak or indeterminate state (e.g., a processor GPIO that may be tri-stated during startup). The pull-down resistor pulls the voltage at the EN pin to 0V, thereby disabling the device. The TLV710 and TLV711 series are available in a 1.5mm x 1.5mm SON-6 package and are well suited for handheld applications.
