Introduction
The OPA391, OPA2391, and OPA4391 (OPAx391) devices combine the unique characteristics of high bandwidth (1MHz) and ultra-low quiescent current (24µA) in a precision amplifier. Combined with rail-to-rail input and output, these features make the devices ideal for high-gain, low-power applications. Ultra-low input bias current of 10fA, maximum offset voltage of only 45µV, and temperature drift of 1.2µV/°C help maintain high accuracy in ratiometric and amperometric sensor front ends with stringent low-power requirements.
The OPAx391 employs TI's proprietary e-trim™ op amp technology to achieve a unique combination of ultra-low offset and low input offset drift without any input chopping or auto-zero techniques. The CMOS-based technology platform also features a modern, robust output stage design capable of driving high output capacitance, alleviating the stability issues common in typical low-power amplifiers.
