NTE Electronics NTE7446

NTE7446 is a BCD-to-seven-segment decoder/driver in a 16-pin plastic DIP package, featuring active-low outputs designed to directly drive common-anode VLED or incandescent lamp indicators. The device provides full ripple-blanking input/output control and a lamp test input. Display patterns for BCD input counts above 9 are unique symbols used to verify input conditions. The NTE7446 incorporates automatic leading and/or trailing edge zero-blanking control (RBI and RBO). Lamp test (LT) can be performed at any time when the BI/RBO node is set high. The device also includes a priority blanking input (BI) that can be used to control lamp brightness via pulsing or to suppress the outputs. All inputs and outputs are fully compatible with TTL logic outputs.
