Using flip-chip platform technology, the LUXEON UV FC series are the smallest and highest power density (W/cm²) UV LEDs utilizing flip-chip technology in a chip-scale package (CSP). These LEDs can be reflow soldered to substrates using standard SMT equipment and processes. The LUXEON UV FC series enables tighter beam control and high packing density of LEDs in chip-on-board solutions, while completely eliminating wire bonding from the system. The LUXEON UV FC series is ideal for cost-sensitive applications, delivering high irradiance at high current densities by leveraging the lowest thermal resistance of CSP devices to maximize W/↓.
