TI TPSM63610RDFR

The TPSM63610 is a highly integrated 36V, 8A DC/DC solution from the synchronous buck module series. It integrates power MOSFETs, shielded inductors, and passive components in an enhanced Hotrod QFN package. The VIN and VOUT pins of the module are located at the corners of the package to optimize the placement of input and output capacitors. There are four large thermal pads under the module to facilitate handling during the layout and manufacturing process. The output voltage range of the TPSM63610 is from 1V to 20V, designed to quickly and easily achieve a low-EMI design within a small PCB footprint. The entire solution only requires four external components and eliminates the selection process for magnetic and compensation components. Although the TPSM63610 module is designed for miniaturization and simplicity in space-constrained applications, it offers many features to ensure robust performance: a precision enable function with hysteresis characteristics to adjust the input voltage UVLO; resistor-programmable switch node slope and spread spectrum options to improve EMI performance. In addition, VCC, bootstrap, and input capacitors are integrated to improve reliability and density. The module can be configured to maintain a constant switching frequency (FPWM) across the entire load current range or configured for variable frequency (PFM) to improve light-load efficiency. A PGOOD indicator is also included for timing control, fault protection, and output voltage monitoring.
