Introduction
The BDxxFA1FP3 series are LDO regulators with 0.1A output current capability. Output voltages of 3.3V, 5.0V, 5.4V, and 12.0V are available with ±1% accuracy. The SOT89-3K package is most favorable for heat dissipation. As protection functions to prevent IC damage, the devices incorporate a built-in overcurrent protection circuit to protect against output short circuits, and a built-in thermal shutdown circuit to protect the IC under thermal overload conditions. These products are suitable for use in a wide variety of digital equipment. These regulators are compatible with ceramic capacitors, which are smaller in size and offer longer service life than other capacitor types.
