Introduction
Complies with the AEQ-Q100 standard for automotive applications – Device temperature grade 3: -40°C to 85°C TA. Dual-port USB 2.0 hub.
USB 2.0 hub features: Multi-Transaction Translator (MTT) hub: Two transaction translators, each with four asynchronous endpoint buffers. Compatible with Type C, supports battery charging, CDP mode (upstream port connected), DCP mode (upstream port not connected). The DCP mode complies with the China Telecommunication Industry Standard YD/T 1591 - 2009, and D+/D– voltage divider mode. Supports per-port or grouped power switches and overcurrent notification inputs.
Customizable configuration can be achieved via OTP ROM, serial EEPROM, or I2C/SMBus slave interface: VID and PID port customization, Manufacturer and product strings (not via OTP ROM), Serial number (not via OTP ROM). Application features can be selected using terminal selection, EEPROM, or I2C/SMBus slave interface. Provides a 128-bit Universally Unique Identifier (UUID). Supports on-board and in-system OTP/EEPROM programming via the USB 2.0 upstream port. Single clock input, 24MHz crystal or oscillator. No special driver requirements; can work seamlessly with any operating system supporting the USB stack. 48-pin HTQFP package (PHP).
The TUSB4020BI-Q1 can provide pin setting configurations for some features including battery charging support, and can also offer customization services for PID, VID, custom ports, and physical layer configurations via OTP ROM, I2C EEPROM, or I2C/SMBus controlled interface. When using the I2C EEPROM or I2C/SMBus controlled interface, custom string support can also be provided. It comes in a 48-pin HTQFP package, specifically designed for the industrial temperature range from -40°C to 85°C.
