The E Series LVDTs are highly cost-effective, meeting the needs of many applications that require LVDT performance and reliability on a limited budget. With linearity of only ±0.5% of full scale (±1.0% for E 2000), they are suitable for most applications in moderate operating temperature environments. The series features a magnetic stainless steel housing that protects against EMI and electrostatic interference, while the rugged construction withstands shock and vibration in most industrial applications. As with most LVDTs, the E Series windings are vacuum-impregnated with a specially formulated high-temperature flexible resin, and the coil assembly is encapsulated within the housing using a two-part epoxy, providing excellent resistance to harsh environments including high humidity, vibration, and shock.
