TI TPS40055PWPR

The TPS4005x series devices are high-voltage synchronous buck controllers with a wide input voltage range (8V to 52V). They offer a high degree of design flexibility with multiple user-programmable features, including soft-start, UVLO, operating frequency, voltage feedforward, high-side current limiting, and loop compensation. Voltage feedforward control technology provides excellent line regulation and fast response to input line transients over a wide input voltage range (4:1). The variable yet approximately constant modulator gain simplifies loop compensation. The externally programmable current limiting function provides cycle-by-cycle current limiting, while an internal fault counter enables hiccup-mode operation during prolonged overload conditions.
