Descrição
AP9214L is a single-chip protection solution specifically designed for single-cell lithium-ion rechargeable battery pack applications. AP9214L integrates a single-cell lithium-ion battery protection IC and dual N-channel MOSFETs with ultra-low on-resistance (R SS(ON)) in a common-drain configuration. AP9214L provides comprehensive battery protection functions, capable of turning off the N-channel MOSFETs by detecting overcharge voltage/current, overdischarge voltage/current, or load short circuit. AP9214L features built-in fixed delay times, eliminating the need for external components. AP9214L is available in a U-DFN2535-6 package with two pin configuration options.

- Overdischarge hysteresis voltage range: 0V to 0.7V (40mV steps), accuracy ±65mV
- Discharge overcurrent detection voltage: 0.05V to 0.32V (10mV steps), accuracy ±15mV
- Short-circuit current detection voltage: 0.45V to 0.7V (50mV steps), accuracy ±100mV
- Charge overcurrent detection voltage: −0.2V to −0.05V (10mV steps), accuracy ±15mV
- Overcharge detection voltage: 8.0V (fixed), accuracy ±2V
- Overcharge release voltage: 7.3V (fixed), accuracy ±2V
- Built-in fixed detection delay time (+25°C), accuracy ±20%
- Selectable power-down mode (yes or no)
- Selectable 0V battery charging (permitted or prohibited)
- Selectable overcharge protection mode (auto-release or latch)
- Fully lead-free and fully RoHS compliant
- Halogen- and antimony-free, "green" device
