Introduction
The ADX111(Q) is a precision, low-power, 16-bit resolution, I2C-compatible ADC available in MSOP-10 and QFN-10 packages. The high integration of the ADX111(Q) helps simplify system design complexity and cost, incorporating a low-drift voltage reference, oscillator, PGA, and digital comparator. The internal digital filter of the ADX111(Q) provides flexible output data rates from 8SPS to 860SPS. The PGA offers an input range of ±256mV to ±6.144V, enabling accurate measurement of both large and small signals. The ADX111(Q) features an input MUX that supports two differential or four single-ended input measurements. The digital comparator in the ADX111(Q) can be used for undervoltage and overvoltage detection. The ADX111(Q) operates in either continuous-conversion mode or single-shot mode. The internal filter is single-cycle settling in both modes. In single-shot mode, the device automatically powers down after one conversion, significantly reducing power consumption during idle periods. Additionally, the ADX111(Q) operates over a wide supply voltage range, making it ideal for power- and space-constrained sensor measurement applications.
