Introduction
ADX122(Q) is a precision, low-power, 20-bit ADC that provides all the features needed to measure the most common sensor signals in an MSOP-10 or ultra-compact QFN-10 package. The device integrates a PGA, voltage reference, oscillator, and high-accuracy temperature sensor. These features, combined with a wide supply range of 2V to 5.5V, make it well suited for power-constrained and space-constrained sensor measurement applications. The ADX122(Q) can perform conversions at data rates up to 3571 SPS. The PGA offers input ranges from ±256mV to ±6.144V, allowing both large and small signals to be measured with high resolution. The input MUX allows measurement of two differential or four single-ended inputs. The high-accuracy temperature sensor can be used for system-level temperature monitoring or thermocouple cold-junction compensation. The ADX122(Q) operates in either continuous-conversion mode or single-shot mode; in single-shot mode, the device automatically powers down after a conversion, significantly reducing current consumption during idle periods. Data is transferred via SPI. The device is rated for an operating temperature range of -40℃ to 125℃.
