Introduction
The LT1990-10 operates from a 5V single supply with an adjustable 85V input range, minimum 60dB CMRR, and power consumption below 180µA. Rail-to-rail output maximizes dynamic range, which is especially critical for single-supply applications down to 2.7V. The LT1990-10 operates from 3V, 5V, and ±15V single supplies over the industrial temperature range. The LT1990-10 is available in 8-pin SO and pin FMEA-compatible MSOP packages.

- The LT1990-10 is a complete gain block solution for high input common-mode voltage applications. The device integrates a low power precision op amp and thin-film resistors to produce a gain of 10 with high accuracy.
- The on-chip resistors form a modified difference amplifier with a reference port for introducing offset or other additive waveforms.
- The resistor network architecture generates a 1/27 internal voltage division of the common-mode voltage, enabling a very large input range. The input range can far exceed the supply voltage used by the LT1990-10 itself.
- All I/Os except the –IN and +IN pins incorporate standard ESD clamp diodes. The inputs are rated at ±250V with ±500V protection.
- Compared to traditional discrete approaches, the LT1990-10 single-chip solution significantly simplifies instrumentation design development with its wide input voltage range and input impedance greater than 1MΩ.
