ADI HMC723LC3CTR

The HMC723LC3C is a D-type flip-flop designed to support data rates up to 13 Gbps and clock frequencies up to 13 GHz. In normal operation, data is transferred to the output on the positive edge of the clock. Negative edge-triggered applications can be achieved by inverting the clock input. The HMC723LC3C also features an output level control pin VR, which can be used for loss compensation or signal level optimization.

All input signals of the HMC723LC3C are terminated on-chip through 50 ohm to ground and can be AC-coupled or DC-coupled. The differential outputs of the HMC723LC3C can also be AC-coupled or DC-coupled. The outputs can be directly connected to systems with 50 ohm termination to ground; if the termination system is 50 ohm to a non-ground DC voltage, DC-blocking capacitors can be used. The HMC723LC3C operates from a single -3.3V DC supply and is available in a RoHS-compliant 3x3 mm SMT ceramic package.
