Introduction
AD5683R/AD5682R/AD5681R/AD5683 are part of the nanoDAC+ family, comprising low power, single-channel, 16/14/12-bit buffered voltage output DACs. Except for the AD5683, these devices integrate an on-chip 2.5 V reference with a temperature coefficient of 2 ppm/°C, enabled by default. The output range is software-programmable to either 0 V to VREF or 0 V to 2 x VREF. Operating from a 2.7 V to 5.5 V single supply, monotonicity is guaranteed by design. Available in a 2.00 mm x 2.00 mm, 8-lead LFCSP or 10-lead MSOP package. An internal power-on reset circuit ensures the DAC register is loaded with zero-scale at power-up, with the internal output buffer configured to normal mode. The AD5683R/AD5682R/AD5681R/AD5683 feature a power-down mode that reduces device current consumption to 2 μA (maximum) at 5 V, with software-selectable output loads available in power-down mode. The AD5683R/AD5682R/AD5681R/AD5683 use a versatile 3-wire serial interface, operating at clock rates up to 50 MHz. Select devices also offer an asynchronous RESET pin and a |VLOGIC| pin option with 1.8 V compatibility.
