FAN7390 is a monolithic high-side and low-side gate driver IC capable of driving high-speed MOSFETs and IGBTs at operating voltages up to +600V. It features a buffered output stage with an all-NMOS transistor design, offering high pulse current drive capability and minimal cross-conduction. The high-voltage process and common-mode noise rejection technique ensure stable high-side driver operation even in high dv/dt noise environments. An advanced level-shift circuit allows the high-side gate driver to withstand VS = -9.8V (typical) at a supply voltage of VBS = 15V while maintaining normal operation. The UVLO circuit prevents drive circuit malfunction when VDD and VBS fall below the specified threshold voltages. The high current output and low voltage drop characteristics make this device suitable for applications such as PDP sustain pulse driving, motor drives, switching power supplies, and high-power DC converters.
