Introduction
TW141 is a ruggedized, weatherproof broadband 40dB gain inline amplifier designed to boost weak frequency signals in the 1200 to 1800MHz range, including L-band and all GNSS signals. The amplifier supports longer cable runs between antenna and receiver without degrading system sensitivity, making it suitable for applications such as mast mounting, large vehicles, and timing systems. The TW141 allows DC to pass directly from input to output to support powering the antenna center conductor, eliminating the need for a separate bias source or bias tee. It is housed in a ruggedized weatherproof cylindrical nickel-plated brass enclosure and is available with SMA and TNC female connectors. Note that the amplifier is directional and must be installed in the direction indicated by the product label.
