Introduction
An anemometer is a device used to measure wind speed and is a common meteorological station instrument. This well-built anemometer is designed for outdoor use and allows easy measurement of wind speed. To use, connect the black wire to power and signal ground, connect the brown wire to 7 - 24VDC (we successfully operated it at 9V), and measure the analog voltage on the blue wire. The voltage ranges from 0.4V (wind speed of 0m/s) to 2.0V (wind speed of 32.4m/s). It's that simple! The sensor is rugged and easy to install. The cable can be easily disconnected with just a few twists and features a waterproof connector.
