TPS23750 integrates the functionality of the TPS2375 with a primary-side DC/DC PWM controller. With minimal external components, designers can create a front-end solution for PoE PD applications. Except for the UVLO startup voltage (for compatibility with legacy systems), the TPS23770 and TPS23750 share identical functionality. The PoE front end includes all required IEEE 802.3af features, including detection, classification, UVLO, and inrush current control. The PoE input switch is integrated within the TPS23750. The DC/DC external switch MOSFET provides a fully featured DC/DC converter, along with additional protection features for a robust and reliable design.
